The EGR OFF file removes Exhaust Gas Recirculation functionality from your vehicule’s ECU.
How does a EGR work?
The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system redirects a small amount of exhaust gases back into the engine intake to lower the combustion temperature. The EGR valve is the main component of this system. It controls the flow of exhaust gases from the exhaust manifold into the intake manifold.
